Here's what's happening in the Central Region, June 20, 2007

Class 124 is just starting hose lays, BA's, ladders and knots. Perfect timing...it's just getting hot. They are down to 39 recruits.

We just sent 15 more people to the PFT class in Orange County. They are anxiously awaiting their test results. I talked to Capt. Stan Brawer and FFS Paul Stump and they are excited to get started! Talk about a welcome boost of energy!

I wanted to welcome Martin Maher to the Central Region. Congratulatons and welcome aboard. Martin is assigned to FS 8C.

Next week, Capt. Klar and I are attending Phoenix Fire's Health and Fitness Symposium. We hope to bring back a ton of info on what's happening in the fire fitness business around the country. Look for updates here as the week goes on.
